Human brain temperature variations
Human brain temperature is higher and varies more than previously assumed—by age, sex, menstrual cycle, brain region, and time of day. In healthy adults, brain temperature range from 36.1 to 40.9°C; mean brain temperature (38.5 ± 0.4°C) exceed oral temperature (36.0 ± 0.5°C). Brain temperature varies by time of day, especially in deep regions (0.86°C, P = 0.0001), and is lowest at night.
Comment by Marc Rivard, M.D. and raelian bishop :
“As science progresses, we learn that nothing is constant and that everything is moving. Even the temperature of our brain.”
