Paralysed patients able to walk unaided
Patients that have been paralysed for years are able to walk unaided thanks to a surgically implanted array of electrodes in the spinal cord. After several months of training with electrical stimulation, the paraplegic individuals were able to active their previously paralysed muscles without stimulation. They could even take a few steps without any support.
Cycles of prolonged fasting protect against immune system damage and also induce immune system regeneration. Periods of two to four days of fasting kill older and damaged immune cells and generates new ones. Prolonged fasting also lowers levels of IGF-1, a growth-factor hormone linked to aging and cancer risk.
More than 200 million termite mounds network discovered in Brazil
A network of more than 200 million termite mounds has been discovered in Brazil, stretching across an area the size of Great Britain. They are the oldest living structures, made by insects, still occupied today. Some of them could be 4000 years old.
The DNA of a cell is copied as messenger RNAs, which serve as a template for protein synthesis. The mRNAs are compacted inside the cell in many configurations but rarely in stable closed loop as has long been believed. Mechanisms of anti-cancer drugs under development need to be re-examined.
A new DNA structure has been observed in human cells, different from the double helix, called a “4-strand twisted knot” or intercalated pattern. The letters C of the same strand bind to each other. Intercalated patterns form late in a cell’s life and appear and disappear, perhaps to turn genes on or off.
Bacterial flagellum’s appearance explained by cooptation ?
The appearance of the bacterial flagellum could be explained by cooptation, a process of duplication and modification of a new function. The flagellar assemblage comprises six successive stages, synchronized via a complex regulatory network of flagellar gene and protein interactions. Harvard time scale studies estimate that the chances of developing a new protein are only a billion billion. All genes should appear and become fully operational in a very short time otherwise degrading mutations would invade populations in a few months. Insurmountable obstacles appear as the appearance of vast quantities of new genetic information that would exceed the age of the universe by several orders of magnitude.
(73aH*) : August 6th is the anniversary of the atomic bomb explosion on Hiroshima in 1945.
This date represents the entrance of Humanity into the age of Revelation (Apocalypsis).
Thus, since August 6, 2018, we are in 73 aH, (meanning 73 after Hiroshima).
It is also an “atheist” and universal calendar to replace the existing ” monotheist”, religious and non universal calendars.
