Dwarf galaxies orbit around large ones. Centaurus A, at 10 million light-years from the Milky Way, has 16 dwarf galaxies and 14 of them are aligned and coplanar. That configuration questions the standard model of cold dark matter (LCDM) used by cosmologists which predicts a random distribution of dwarfs.

The light of a quasar 6 billion light-years away is bent by the gravitational field of the galaxy.

Thanks to gravitational microlensing, shifts in the light were explained by planets with masses ranging from between the Moon and Jupiter.
