  • There is no ‘gay gene,’ major study concludes

    It is impossible to predict the sexual behavior of an individual from his genome. Loving a person of the same sex is not defined by a single gene but by a complex mix of genetic and environmental influences. There is no gene ‘gay’.

     

     

    It only takes 3,5% of the people to change the world

    Studies about 323 violent and nonviolent campaigns from 1900 to 2006 show that nonviolent campaigns are twice as likely to achieve their goals as violent campaigns. They succeed in 53% of cases against 26% of cases of violent campaigns. When the non-violent protest reaches the threshold of 3.5% of the whole population, success seems to be guaranteed.
