Meditators have more gray matter in several areas of the brain including auditory and sensory cortex and insula, but also in the frontal cortex, linked to decision-making and working memory. Even just eight-weeks of meditation thicken several regions of the brain and shrink the amygdala, associated with fear, anxiety and aggression.
Humans have magnetic sensors linked to the brain
In a study with humans sitting alone in a dark room, artificial magnetic field rotations trigger powerful and reproducible brain responses through a receptor called a biological magnetometer, arguably made of nanocrystals of ferromagnetic mineral magnetite. But the participants did not feel any obvious feelings. So humans have magnetic sensors that send signals to the brain but still in their subconscious.
