  • The Earth-like planet could be habitable

Proxima Centauri, our closest star after the sun, is a red dwarf, variable and unstable. The Earth-like planet Proxima Centauri B could be habitable with atmosphere and a more large surface of liquid water than previously thought.

Development of photonic circuitry for light-based computing

Physicists have discovered half-light half-matter particles, known as massless Dirac polaritons. In graphene they travel very efficiently but with a lack of tunability. Using mirrors they can be controlled, leading to the development of photonic circuitry for light-based computing

The CI Tau star is home to four giant planets.

The closest is in an orbit similar to that of Mercury. The farthest at a distance more than three times greater than that of the Sun at Neptune. These observations do not correspond to the current model of planet formation
